The young London-based orchestra Nova Philharmonia is concluding its second artistic season with a gala concert at St. James's Church in London this Friday, July 3rd.
The event, conducted by Madeiran maestro Patricia Khachkalyan Gomes, marks the culmination of a successful season for the orchestra, recognized for its program quality and promotion of emerging talents. The evening's program will be entirely dedicated to Czech music, with the presence of the Czech Ambassador to London.
The program includes Bohuslav Martinů's Rhapsody-Concerto for Viola, Antonín Dvořák's Slavonic Dances, and Bedřich Smetana's Vltava (The Moldau). The concert aims to celebrate music as a tool for cultural connection between the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
