The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates a partly cloudy day in Madeira for this Friday, September 11th.
Periods of increased cloudiness are expected until mid-morning, with a possibility of light showers occurring until early morning. Winds will blow from the northeast, light to moderate (10 to 30 km/h), potentially strong (up to 40 km/h) on the eastern and western extremities of the island and in the highlands. In Funchal, the wind will be light (under 15 km/h).
Waves on the north coast are expected to range between 1 to 1.5 meters, while on the south coast they will be less than 1 meter. The sea water temperature is between 23 and 24ºC.
