The Portuguese Communist Party (PCP) has announced another protest against rising fuel prices, scheduled for October 1st at 6:00 PM at the East entrance of Funchal, near the exit to Boa Nova.
This event follows a similar protest held two weeks prior on Avenida do Mar, which the party claims saw hundreds of motorists participate. The PCP criticizes the Regional Government for its lack of response and urges the use of autonomous powers to address the price increases impacting daily living costs.
The party calls for public participation in the protest to "make our protest against the price increases heard."
