On Sunday, October 18th, Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo experienced diversions for four flights due to reported poor visibility in the area.
Affected arrivals included flights from British Airways and easyJet, which were diverted to Faro and Porto Santo. A TAP flight from Lisbon also diverted to Porto Santo, while another TAP flight from Porto returned to its origin.
Several departures were delayed, and an easyJet flight to Nantes was cancelled. Porto Santo Airport also faced disruptions from reduced visibility, though one TAP flight managed to land on its third attempt.
