The Popular Youth of Madeira (JP) has welcomed the University of Madeira's (UMa) integration into an international research and technological innovation consortium with Chinese partners.
The organization views this agreement as a "historic step" for regional science, highlighting the role of the Regional Secretariat for Economy and Invest Madeira in fostering connections with Chinese entities. The partnership aims to promote joint projects, international scientific cooperation, and new training opportunities in fields such as artificial intelligence and smart technologies.
JP Madeira also emphasized the contribution of the Regional Secretariat for Economy and Invest Madeira during business missions to China, which established contacts with academic and technological entities, including China Southern Sci-Tech Co., Ltd., opening avenues for future cooperation.
