With air temperatures around 27 degrees Celsius and sea water at 25 degrees, the island presents itself as an attractive destination for regional, national, and international tourists. Hotels, restaurants, and bars are reporting high occupancy rates, as are taxi, ride-sharing, and car rental services.
Nautical activities, sports such as golf, tennis, and padel, and cycling, walking, or running excursions are also popular choices. The municipality of Porto Santo has organized entertainment for August, including concerts by Tiago Bettencourt and Marotos da Concertina.
