The latest edition of the charity golf tournament, held in Porto Santo, was a success, attracting golfers from the island and Madeira. The joint initiative by the Porto Santo Development Society and the Madeira branch of the Portuguese League Against Cancer (LPCC) had a strong social and sporting purpose.

Ricardo Sousa, president of LPCC Madeira, highlighted the role of sport in disease prevention, stating that "sport is a good way to help prevent all diseases, and in the case of cancer, it is no different." The tournament had 48 participants and raised about 1,170 euros in registrations, with FN Hotelaria adding another 1,500 euros, bringing the total to approximately 3,000 euros for LPCC Madeira.

During the event, João Abel de Freitas, Paulina Sousa, and engineer Carreira were honored for their continuous support. In the competition, Salvador Câmara won in net scoring, followed by Miguel Pereira and Cristian. Nuno Henriques took the Gross score with 69 strokes. Nicolau Rodrigues was the top junior, Ashley Williams won the nearest-to-the-pin, and Santiago Câmara achieved the longest drive.
