Porto Santo Mayor Nuno Batista highlighted the focus on quality during the inauguration of the Pestana Dunas Hotel, stating, "We don't want less than what we already have. We want to continue increasing quality."
Batista affirmed that the municipality welcomes investors seeking a permanent and sustainable commitment to the island, aiming to create wealth through ambitious projects that add value to Porto Santo as a tourist destination. He noted that Porto Santo's territorial added value has grown by over 80%.
"Wealth creation is not compatible with small things but rather with bold projects that bring added value to the Porto Santo tourist destination," he explained. The local authority welcomes those who choose the island to work, even if they are from elsewhere, "like family."
