The Imaculado Coração de Maria Parish Council officially presented the Portugal Day Veterans Tournament, scheduled for this Saturday, starting at 4 PM, at the Clube Desportivo 1.º de Maio field.
The competition includes the participation of Clube Desportivo Carvalheiro, AFC Barreiro, and Desportivo da Quinta Grande. The tournament marks the return of the event, which was postponed from June 10th due to constraints at Madeira Airport.
The initiative aims to promote veteran sports, strengthen friendships between clubs from different regions, and enhance the social aspect. A celebratory gathering will follow the competition at the Clube Desportivo Carvalheiro headquarters.
