PRINT supports 14 social entrepreneurship projects with over 35,000 euros

The second phase of the Social Innovation and Transformation Program (PRINT) will support 14 social entrepreneurship projects, promoted by associations and informal youth groups, with a total funding of 35,673.65 euros. The contract signing ceremony took place at the Regional Directorate of Youth, chaired by the Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Labour and Youth, Paula Margarido.

The projects cover areas such as artistic expression, health, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and heritage valorization. Initiatives like "Tuna goes to School," "Saxophone Days," and "Herbs that Care" are among those supported. In total, PRINT approved 28 applications in 2026, with an investment of 74,438.65 euros, involving 2,248 young people.

Paula Margarido highlighted the role of young people in transforming society, emphasizing their ability to "recreate the world" and find solutions to current problems. "It is not enough to create programs and provide support. It is necessary to listen to young people," she added, underlining the importance of recognizing their active role in building society.
