The Secretary-General of the Socialist Party (PS), José Luís Carneiro, will visit Madeira on the 6th and 7th of this month, as announced by PS-Madeira.
The visit is part of a national party tour focused on the Maritime Economy. During his stay, Carneiro, accompanied by the president of PS-M, Célia Pessegueiro, and other party members, will meet with representatives from various maritime-related sectors, including researchers, fishermen, shipowners, and tourism agents.
The aim of this initiative is to listen to sector stakeholders to help define public policies in the Blue Economy, an area where Madeira and the Azores hold a strategically relevant position.
