PSP Reports 63 Accidents Causing 23 Minor Injuries and One Serious Injury

The Public Security Police reported 63 road accidents, resulting in 23 minor injuries and one serious injury, with the highest incidence in Funchal.

The Public Security Police (PSP) has released a report detailing 63 road accidents across the island, which led to 23 individuals sustaining minor injuries and one serious injury.

The municipality of Funchal, being the most populous, recorded the highest number of incidents, followed by Câmara de Lobos and Santa Cruz in third place. Collisions were the most frequent type of accident, accounting for 51 cases.

Furthermore, the PSP arrested five drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol and three for driving without a legal license.
