The Regional Command of the Public Security Police (PSP) in Madeira reported that 78 road accidents occurred in the Autonomous Region of Madeira between July 17 and 23, 2026.
These incidents resulted in 22 minor injuries. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities. The PSP also conducted enforcement operations that led to the arrest of 13 individuals for traffic offenses, including driving under the influence of alcohol.
