Quinta das Maravilhas, a cultural heritage site that served as the official residence of the Norwegian Consul in Madeira, is undergoing a transformation into a residential development.
The estate, reflecting the golden age of Madeiran quintas in the 18th and 19th centuries with its stately architecture, private chapel, and romantic gardens, will now feature 30 housing units, including apartments and villas.
The project, located on Rua das Maravilhas in São Martinho, Funchal, covers an area of 13,260 m² and aims to preserve traditional Madeiran architectural styles, incorporating over 6,000 m² of gardens, a communal pool, and a gym, along with the restoration of the old chapel.
