The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates increased cloudiness in the Madeira archipelago from Tuesday afternoon, September 29.
Periods of rain are expected during the afternoon, accompanied by light to moderate southwesterly winds, with stronger gusts in the highlands. A slight decrease in maximum temperatures is also predicted for higher elevations.
Temperatures in Funchal are expected to range between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius, and in Porto Santo between 21 and 28 degrees. Sea conditions on the north coast will feature northwest waves of 1.5 to 2 meters, while on the south coast, waves will be from the southwest, measuring 1 to 1.5 meters. The sea water temperature will be between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius.
