The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts for this Monday in the Madeira archipelago include periods of very cloudy skies, which are expected to give way to partly cloudy skies during the afternoon.
Wind will be light, below 15 km/h, becoming light to moderate from the southwest from late morning, with speeds between 10 to 30 km/h. Suspended dust is expected to persist.
Maximum temperatures on Madeira island are expected to range between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius, while in Porto Santo the values will be between 21 and 28 degrees. On the north coast, waves will be from the northwest at 1 to 1.5 meters, and on the south coast, less than 1 meter. The sea water temperature will be between 23 and 24ºC.
