The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) anticipates a very cloudy day on Madeira, with temporary clear spells.
Scattered showers accompanied by thunderstorms are possible until mid-morning. Winds will be light, predominantly from the east. The maximum predicted temperatures are 29°C and the minimums are 23°C on the island of Madeira.
In Porto Santo, temperatures will range between 21°C and 27°C. Funchal expects very cloudy skies with clear spells and the possibility of showers with thunderstorms until mid-morning, with light winds (under 15 km/h).
Sea conditions on the North Coast will feature northwest waves of 1.5 to 2 meters, while on the South Coast, waves will be less than 1 meter. The sea water temperature will be between 24°C and 25°C.
