The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has extended the alert for high temperatures across the entire Madeira archipelago.
The warning, which was at an orange level until 6 PM this Friday, has been downgraded to yellow and will remain in effect until 6 PM on Saturday.
