Madeira experienced a very hot Sunday, September 27th, with partly cloudy skies and the presence of dust.
The region was under a yellow weather warning for hot weather due to persistently high maximum temperatures. The warning covered the North Coast, South Coast, mountainous regions, and Porto Santo, remaining in effect until 7 pm.
Saharan dust, a recurring issue in recent days, was also present and was expected to continue until the end of Wednesday, clearing on Thursday morning.
