Health programs from the Regional Government of Madeira, managed by the Institute of Health Administration (IASAÚDE), IP-RAM, have had a visible impact in São Vicente.
According to IASAÚDE, these measures have continuously supported the population for over seven years, addressing the concrete needs of more than 440 residents.
Initiatives include the Baby Kit for newborns, which has assisted over 180 families, and the '+Visão' (More Vision) and '+Sorriso' (More Smile) programs for children and youth, reaching 110 minors. For seniors, 145 individuals benefited from the '+Visão' program to purchase prescription glasses.
