The Regional Government has announced the construction of 22 new homes in the Nogueira Neighborhood, Camacha, with a base investment of 5.49 million euros. The project, approved by the Government Council, will be managed by Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira (IHM) on the site of the former public school.
The architectural design includes distributing the 22 units across three buildings, featuring T1, T2, and T3 duplex typologies. The interior of the block will be organized for access to the homes and parking, aiming for a functional and integrated living environment.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy by the Regional Government to strengthen public housing stock. Furthermore, a tender for the rehabilitation of existing houses in the neighborhood is planned for launch later this year.
