The Regional Government of Madeira plans to deliver 12 more housing developments by October, announced President Miguel Albuquerque. Several ongoing projects are either completed or in the final stages of execution.
Albuquerque emphasized that public investment in housing will continue, even after the closure of projects funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). The executive is committed to building housing in all municipalities of the island.
Among the ongoing projects, he mentioned developments in Tabua, Canhas, Funchal, and Câmara de Lobos, with new deliveries planned in Machico, including a housing block in Água de Pena. Approximately 60 affordable housing units at Levada do Cavalo are in the final stages of completion and will be delivered soon.
