The Regional Secretary of Education, Science and Technology, Elsa Fernandes, has distanced the Madeiran executive from the problems arising in the correction of national secondary education exams.
When questioned by journalists, Fernandes emphasized that the exams are national in scope and that the process, digitized this year, has been marked by several failures.
"I have nothing to add because we have nothing to do with this process," stated the secretary, assuring, however, that "there are no problems here" regarding the assigned teachers.
