The President of the Madeira Legislative Assembly, Rubina Leal, received Rotary District 1960 Governor Isabel Rosmaninho in audience, together with members of the Rotary Club of Funchal's board.
During the meeting, Leal praised Rotary's community initiatives and highlighted the year's theme, "Create Lasting Impact", as a guiding principle for private social solidarity institutions and other bodies working in the field.
She stressed the need for well-planned, structured programmes that ensure continuity and lasting change, and pointed to the value of patronage and stable partnerships between institutions, companies and citizens.
