The Seixal Summer Fest marks its 5th edition with a renewed focus on promoting and valuing the parish's territory. Organized by the Seixal Parish Council, the event aims to showcase local gastronomy, products, and wines, alongside culture, sports, the sea, nature, and traditions.
Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries, Nuno Maciel, attended the festival and emphasized the importance of such initiatives for valuing local resources and energizing communities. Gastronomy is a key highlight, featuring a showcase that promotes traditional flavors and provides visibility to producers and restaurants.
The program also includes sea-related activities like a fishing tournament and paddleboarding events, a 4x4 jeep tour through the hills, and folklore performances to preserve local identity. The festival seeks to establish itself as a platform for territorial promotion and economic and community development.
