From tomorrow, six new buses join the fleet of Horários do Funchal. All are fully electric, have a capacity of 60 passengers and will serve much of the city.
The high-altitude routes (lines 90, 93 and 94), which need higher-traction vehicles, and the green line, which serves the city's lowest area with many tourists needing larger capacity, are not included.
The buses are air-conditioned and fitted with surveillance cameras. They can be charged in two ways: a slower charge of about 4 hours, and a faster one of 1.5 hours.
