The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts generally slightly cloudy skies for the Madeira archipelago this Thursday, September 3rd, with periods of increased cloudiness from the afternoon onwards.
Winds are expected to blow from the northeast, light to moderate (10 to 25 km/h), gradually turning north. A slight increase in maximum temperatures is anticipated in the highlands.
In the Funchal region, skies will be generally slightly cloudy with light winds, below 15 km/h. Waves on the north coast will be between 1 and 1.5 meters, and less than 1 meter on the south coast. Sea water temperature is expected to range between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius.
