This afternoon's solar eclipse was largely unnoticed on the island of Porto Santo.
However, a slight decrease in luminosity was observed on the "golden island" shortly before 8 PM.
Fewer people were seen on the beach compared to the usual for this time of year, possibly due to a lack of appropriate viewing glasses and a preference for watching the event on television.
