The STRAMM union has welcomed the creation and extension of bus lanes on several Funchal streets, deeming it an important step for improving mobility and public transport in the city.
The union acknowledged the Funchal City Council's decision, recalling that they had previously raised the issue, highlighting the difficulties caused by abusive parking and improper lane occupation.
STRAMM advocates for the extension of existing bus lanes to the limits of Campo da Barca, Jardim do Hinton, and São João, aiming to ensure greater continuity and efficiency for public transport.
