The Tax and Customs Authority (AT) recovered 171 million euros through fiscal enforcement proceedings over the past year.
These figures were achieved following the initiation of 26,000 cases and the execution of approximately 4,800 seizures, according to Diário de Notícias da Madeira.
The report highlights the effectiveness of coercive collection measures in recovering tax debts in the region.
