The Templar Commandery of Nossa Senhora do Monte has inaugurated two libraries in Funchal: a stationary one near the Church of Nossa Senhora do Monte, and a mobile library housed in a vehicle.
Both libraries were blessed by the parish priest of Monte, Vítor Sousa. The event featured the presentation of the book ‘Cofre de Luz’ by Diamantino Ribeiro, prior of the OPCTJ, with copies distributed to various institutions and the local population.
The weekend program also included a training session for squires and knights and will conclude with the II Local Chapter of the Commandery on Sunday.
