The Francisco Franco Secondary School inaugurated the sculpture 'The Seed' on October 9th, a work commemorating Madeira's 50 years of Autonomy.
The installation, situated in the school's new garden, features endemic plants from the region. The project was initiated by the Student Association, in collaboration with the school's History Group, and was funded by the Funchal City Council.
Councillor Helena Leal attended the ceremony, highlighting the sculpture's symbolism of growth and development, and praised the educational community's involvement in valuing regional history and identity.
