The Autonomous Region of Madeira will have two pairs competing in the final stage of the 2026 National Beach Volleyball Circuit. The event takes place from August 14 to 16 at Praia dos Pescadores in Albufeira.
In the women's category, Mariana Valdez and Marta Mendes secured their spot by winning the regional title with 470 points. In the men's category, regional runners-up Leonardo Roque and Vicente Freitas, with 450 points, qualified due to national competition regulations.
The Madeira Volleyball Association views the pairs' presence as the "culmination of the work developed throughout the season" and wishes success to the athletes representing the island.
