Two tourists were seriously injured after an accident involving a traditional wicker toboggan in the Monte area of Funchal on Sunday.
Initial reports suggest the driver of the "carro de rolote" lost control of the vehicle during the descent.
Emergency services provided assistance at the scene and transported the injured to the hospital.
