The average value of new pensions granted to public sector workers in Madeira has seen a 12.5% decrease. In October, 49 public administration employees retired, a figure matching that projected for 2025.
However, the average monthly amount these new pensioners receive has fallen by 224 euros, marking the main story in Wednesday's print edition of Diário de Notícias da Madeira.
