This Wednesday morning began with congested traffic in both directions on the Via Rápida, at usual hotspots.
In the Cancela area, congestion heading from Machico to Ribeira Brava reached approximately 3 km but was already showing signs of improvement, reducing to 2 km. In the opposite direction, the bottleneck between the Pilar and Santo António junctions extended for nearly 3.5 km.
