The Funchal City Council (CMF) has announced a temporary interruption in the water supply to the upper areas of the São Gonçalo parish. This measure is necessary for urgent work on the Cornélia Reservoir.
The shutdown began at 09:00 and is expected to last for six hours. Several streets are affected, including Estrada da Camacha, Levada dos Tornos, and Rampa do Palheiro Ferreiro, among others listed by the CMF.
The council urges residents in the affected areas to take necessary precautions, such as storing water for the duration of the interruption.
