The Week of the Autonomous Region of Madeira commenced today at the Assembly of the Republic and will continue until October 8th, as part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Regional Autonomy.
The official opening took place at 6 PM with a visit to the photographic exhibition '50 Years of Autonomy', accompanying the work of the same name curated by Rui Carita, in the Noble Hall.
The schedule also featured the celebration of Elderly Day, Regional Quality Conferences, the signing of program contracts with Social Economy entities, and the celebration of World Architecture Day.
