The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has extended a yellow weather alert for hot conditions affecting the South Coast of Madeira and the island of Porto Santo.
This extension is due to the persistence of high maximum temperatures. The alert, initially set to end on Tuesday, will now remain in effect until 7 PM on Wednesday, September 9th.
