Madeira and Porto Santo are set to be under a yellow weather warning issued by the Portuguese Institute for Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA).
The warning will be in effect from 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 24th, until 7:00 PM on Friday, September 25th.
This alert is due to the forecast of persistently high temperatures.
The warning covers the north and south coasts of Madeira Island, its mountainous areas, and Porto Santo.
