The 67th edition of the Madeira Rally was presented at the Funchal Maritime Station. José Paulo Fontes, president of the organizing club, Club Sports da Madeira, highlighted the move of the operational center to the port, freeing up the city center, and allocating the Rotunda Sá Carneiro grandstand to the general public.
Due to accepting all entries, the organization anticipates increased safety challenges and longer stage times. The route includes four passes through the Funchal Ecological Park, with accessible viewing areas for spectators. The rally will feature renowned national and international drivers, including Diego Ruiloba, Giandomenico Basso, and Kris Meeke.
Funchal councilman Jorge Carvalho confirmed the municipality's financial and logistical support, praising staff mobilization and the environmental awareness team. Regional Secretary for Economy, José Manuel Rodrigues, emphasized the rally's status as a motorsport benchmark and its media projection for Madeira.
