The President of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, has declared that the national exam situation on the island is practically normalized. According to information from the Regional Secretariat for Education, only 11 students from the 11th and 12th grades are still awaiting the release of their grades.
Albuquerque addressed criticisms regarding delays in grade publication, assuring that efforts are being made to resolve outstanding issues as quickly as possible. He suggested that the introduction of new technological platforms without adequate testing contributed to the observed constraints.
The leader of the Madeiran executive emphasized the importance of testing periods for new technologies, recalling Madeira's experience during the pandemic when IT systems were developed after experimental phases, even under urgent circumstances.
