ARDITI's new research vessel, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) under investment C10-i06 RAM Ocean Technologies, completed its construction on August 28, 2026.
The vessel, multipurpose and equipped with a scientific sensor platform, was acquired through an international public tender (CPI 01/ARDITI/2024), with the acquisition contract signed in March 2025 for €13,950,000 plus VAT.
Following the completion of construction within the stipulated timeframe, the vessel will undergo conformity tests before its delivery and acceptance. Designed by MAURIC, the ship will serve as a floating laboratory, enhancing ARDITI's capabilities for monitoring and scientific research within the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
