Águas e Resíduos da Madeira (ARM) has announced that waste collection may be disrupted in some secondary streets within the municipality of Câmara de Lobos. This is due to breakdowns in some collection vehicles and difficulties in obtaining necessary repair parts.
The ARM anticipates this situation will continue until Friday, August 22. Residents in the affected areas are asked to cooperate by depositing their waste at collection points on nearby main streets whenever possible, to help minimize public litter buildup.
Normal waste collection services are expected to be progressively restored from the week of August 24-29. ARM apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation, assuring that all efforts are being made to resolve the issue promptly.
