The party rejects the idea that such developments will increase the supply of affordable housing, arguing they will be luxury projects in an already inflated market, further distancing Madeiran families from housing access.
BE advocates for more balanced territorial development, with public investment and job creation in other municipalities of Madeira, alongside a housing policy focused on public interest, including more public housing and combating speculation.
