Bicho d Pêssego Festival brings contemporary music to Funchal's historic spaces

The first edition of the Bicho d Pêssego Festival, dedicated to contemporary music, will take place on September 11 and 12 in historic Funchal locations.

Bicho d Pêssego — Associação Cultural da Madeira is organizing the first edition of the Bicho d Pêssego Festival, an event focused on contemporary music that will run on September 11 and 12.

The festival will feature three concerts in historic city spaces, with the premiere of original works at each performance. Admission is free, subject to venue capacity.

The event begins on Friday, September 11, at 6:00 PM, at the Museu Henrique e Francisco Franco, with a concert by Victor Teixeira. On Saturday, September 12, the Museu Henrique e Francisco Franco will host the MP Guitar Duo at 11:00 AM, followed by the Funchal Guitar Quartet at the Capela da Boa Viagem at 3:30 PM.
