The first edition of the Bicho d'Pêssego Festival, dedicated to contemporary music, will be held on September 11 and 12 in Funchal.
The initiative by Bicho d'Pêssego — Associação Cultural da Madeira, supported by the Funchal City Council, will feature concerts in three city venues, with premieres of original works.
The Henrique e Francisco Franco Museum hosts performances on the 11th with Victor Teixeira and on the 12th with the MP Guitar Duo. The festival concludes on the 12th at the Capela da Boa Viagem with the Funchal Guitar Quartet. Admission is free, subject to venue capacity.
