Approximately 400 participants will be involved in the 12th edition of the Senior Adventure Games, taking place in Funchal from September 16th to 18th.
The initiative, presented by the Mayor of Funchal, Jorge Carvalho, will challenge participants over three days with activities such as land navigation, zip-lining, kayaking, adventure bridge, guided rappelling, and fun traditional games.
The events will be spread across various city locations, including Praça do Município, Cais 8, Baía de São Lázaro, Lido, and Ponta Gorda. Jorge Carvalho highlighted the social interaction, physical activity, and city discovery aspects, framing the initiative within the goal of promoting a "dynamic and inclusive" Funchal.
