The Bishop of Funchal, D. Nuno Brás, will undertake a pastoral visit to Venezuela between August 11 and 16. The initiative comes at the invitation of the Archbishop of Caracas, D. Raúl Biord.
This trip aims primarily for closeness, bringing the Gospel of Hope, the solidarity of the Diocese of Funchal, and the affection of Madeirans to the Portuguese communities and populations affected by recent earthquakes. The program includes meetings with local institutions and communities.
