The body of a 48-year-old man was found on Monday inside a home on Caminho do Campo da Imaculada Conceição, in Funchal. A relative raised the alarm.
Police subintendent José Catanho, of the PSP, confirmed the incident to DIÁRIO, saying firefighters and police were dispatched. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, indicating the man may have been dead for several days.
According to Catanho, there are no suspicions of third-party involvement. The regional health delegate was also called to the scene, and the case is proceeding through normal procedures.
